First Things First

The day of Christianity being a pursuit of convenience has passed. It is time for the saints to arise out of the general routine of church life into partnering with the Father in His precise timing.

The only way to accomplish this is by putting first things first!

The Western mindset has become one of getting “what I want.” This mindset pervades every area of our lives, including our faith. This is truly unacceptable to the heart and plan of God for His people. We need to know what the Bible says about what should come first in our lives.

When we apply the principle of the “first” to our lives, putting first things first, we do so looking proactively ahead to what God desires to do next. Adhering to this principle will keep us on the path of going forward according to His divine purpose.
